Tears in His Bottle {Grace & Truth 25}

Sometimes we just need a precious reminder of ho much the Lord really cares for us. The verse in the image, recently spoke volumes to me.

He sees every tear. He knows every care. He feels our every pain. He catches every tear we cry and He store them in a bottle.

One thought I had was, “I wonder what He does with them?” I have no answer except, He just stores them for us to see one day so that we may know how intimately involved He was with our every moment.

I wonder too, if may the tears we cry right now, in a sense water new growth in us as we cry them. No pain or tear is for naught. We know that. May they help us grow more closer to Him.

I invite you to go read Johanna’s beautiful devotion on this topic. It’s a short, yet powerful read. You won’t want to miss the three minutes it takes to read this. Click the image.

    Lovely and true. Johanna’s tender words bring to mind a favorite (related) quote: “Only God can put the pieces of our heart back together again, close up all the wounds, and bind them with a porous bandage that protects from infection, yet keeps the heart free to inhale and exhale love” (Beth Moore). Thank you for sharing, Kaylene.
