A few days ago, our marriage hit a bump and things went south very quickly.
Words got said. Threats got made. Fear threatened. Rejection screamed. Thoughts were not taken captive. Old mindsets crept in.
And then, one of us called out the enemy’s schemes.
Sam and I both recognized what was happening.
We leaned heavily on grace – both receiving it from God and extending it toward each other. We worked through a few long and painful conversations. (I looked rather undignified clinging to a blanket, a white mound of used tissues growing beside me, red eyes, puffy cheeks, sniffling, etc.)
But this time we had the Bible open, looking for answers.
And we found them; practical steps for moving forward again. Reminders of centering on Jesus instead of circling around each other. One of those was Philippians 3:13-15.
My prayer for this list of Scriptures and the DIY Bible study sheets is that you will be encouraged to live and love in ways parallel to Jesus’ ways just as we are learning, too.
I trust the Lord to speak to you each time you apply yourself to His Word, retaining wisdom and gaining strength to do as He calls you.

How to assemble your DIY Bible Study

Then print/duplicate the daily Bible study page twenty-nine more times and the prayer request page as often as desired.
To assemble your 30-day Scripture study, punch holes using a three-hole punch.
Then place all pages in a three-prong folder or a half-inch binder. (I like to tuck the Prayer Request pages in the back pocket and use as needed.)

Each day read a passage from the Scripture Reading List, then follow it up by working through the daily Bible study page. This will take approximately 10+ minutes.
Studying God’s Word doesn’t have to be complicated or super time consuming for Him to speak to us intimately.
