Back to the Reason for Christmas {Grace & Truth}

As my husband and I stepped off the plane and the end of our 10 day vacation/business trip was drawing to an end, I started feeling the pressure. The pressure of Christmas, only 2 weeks away. The pressure to get the shopping done, the tree up, the school engagements, more traveling, the list is endless.
I wanted to turn around and go back to Cancun!
Those days of being completely unplugged were so good for my soul. And as I thought about all I needed to do in preparation for Christmas, I realized the only thing I wanted was to rest, breathe and enjoy. No hassle, no stress. Just joy and peace as it must have be for the shepherds so long ago sitting out in the fields.
I read two articles a few days ago and, honestly, I’m ready to reclaim Christmas. I’m ready to reclaim the peace, the joy, the rest, the REASON. Click the images to be taken to these two articles on reclaiming Christmas. You’ll be glad you took these breaths of fresh air!

    Kaylene,

    Thanks for hosting each week. I hope you and your family are looking forward to a wonderful Christmas.

    I wanted to apologize because when I was cleaning up some things on my site recently, I realized I had some messages that I was not aware of and so had not responded to them. One was from you about a hosting change on the linkup. I did make the link back correction, but I felt bad that I had never acknowledged your message. I’m so sorry.

    Christmas blessings!
