If you are like me, sometimes you might wonder if our prayers really are heard…? Or are we just wishing in the wind?
During some of the hardest times of my life, I have turned to God’s Word. I didn’t have anywhere else to turn, so on a search for hope I started burying my nose in my Bible.
Over & over I read about people talking to God and He heard them. Repeatedly He promised to hear me, help me, comfort me, and work things for the greater good.
The only thing He asks is that we humble ourselves and pray, seek His face and turn from our self inclined ways. Then He promises to hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal the lands we walk through each day. (inspired by 2 Chronicles 7:14)
Over the years I have come to trust that when I follow the instructions in His Word, He heals our internal lands such as our heart, mind, soul and health, as well as our external lands such as our jobs, our home, our marriage, and our relationships with our children.
I believe it starts with prayer. I personally love prayers embedded in Scripture.
And that is what you will find in all one of our Scripture-based prayer books – prayers that are infused with the Word of God. Praying like this helps us pray with power and authority.
Put yourself well on your way to evicting the enemy from your life, relationships, and circumstances by adding Scripture-prayer books to your stash of spiritual ammunition.

A Wife’s 40-Day Fasting & Prayer Journal – a Bible study and prayer book all in one
40 Scripture-based Prayers to Pray Over Your Husband – the “just prayers” version of A Wife’s 40-day Fasting & Prayer Journal
Each prayer in these books incorporates God’s Word, asking His healing, blessing, correction, and presence into every situation you or your family may be going through.
Won’t you join me in doing as He says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 and throughout Scripture? To be humble enough to pray, seek Him, and turn from any revealed sin so He may heal us, renew us, and live powerfully through us.
No matter how short, long, angry, or eloquent our prayers may be… our Father is waiting to hear from us.
Let’s pray like we mean it.
“Call on Me and come and pray to Me,
and I will listen to you…
seek Me and find Me
when you seek Me with all your heart.”
