If you are like me, sometimes you might wonder if our prayers really are heard…? Or are we just wishing in the wind?
During some of the hardest times of my life, I have turned to God’s Word. I didn’t have anywhere else to turn, so on a search for hope I started burying my nose in my Bible.
Over & over I read about people talking to God and He heard them. Repeatedly He promised to hear me, help me, comfort me, and work things for the greater good.
The only thing He asks is that we humble ourselves and pray, seek His face and turn from our self inclined ways. Then He promises to hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal the lands we walk through each day. (inspired by 2 Chronicles 7:14)
Over the years I have come to trust that when I follow the instructions in His Word, He heals our internal lands such as our heart, mind, soul and health, as well as our external lands such as our jobs, our home, our marriage, and our relationships with our children.
I believe it starts with prayer. I personally love prayers embedded in Scripture.
